Jhamandas Watumull Arts & Sciences Scholarship

The purpose of the Jhamandas Watumull Arts & Sciences Scholarship is to recognize and assist meritorious seniors in the Colleges of Arts & Sciences. Recipient must use the award for expenses associated with attending the university.

Preference will be given to students born and raised in India who have either directly or recently arrived at the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa from India (documented proof will be required).

1 award of up to $2,500 will be made

Eligibility

  • Full-time undergraduate at the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa with a declared Arts & Sciences major
  • Senior academic standing
  • Minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA

This scholarship is applicable to spring semesters, and the application due date will be in the prior fall semester. (For example, the “2016 Jhamandas Watumull Arts & Sciences Scholarship” application would be due in Fall 2015, but the scholarship would be awarded for Spring 2016.)
