K.S. Cheng Memorial Scholarship

The purpose of the K.S. Cheng Memorial Scholarship fund is to provide assistance to undergraduate or graduate students enrolled in the Colleges of Arts & Sciences. These awards are made possible by Mrs. K.S. Cheng to commemorate the late Mr. Cheng’s accomplishments and commitment to contribute to community needs. Mr. Cheng was a successful entrepreneur who dearly valued education.

Preference may be given to students of Chinese ancestry.

1 award of up to $1,500 will be made


  • Full-time upper division undergraduate with a declared Arts & Sciences major
    Classified graduate student pursuing a degree in the Arts & Sciences
  • Some degree of financial need

This scholarship is applicable to spring semesters, and the application due date will be in the prior fall semester. (For example, the “2016 K.S. Cheng Memorial Scholarship” application would be due in Fall 2015, but the scholarship would be awarded for Spring 2016.)
