Abstract of Mission/Goals:
Conduct research on drinking prevention and early intervention strategies for Asian/Pacific Islander communities in Hawaii. Projects have included prevalence of use and abuse as well as a needs assessment among youth; prevalence of use and abuse in a community sample of adults; evaluation of prevention and early intervention services for youth; treatment preferences and use among adults in residential treatment.
