ELP assists its students interested in rewarding careers beyond Hawai‘i.

Defenders of Wildlife – Defenders of Wildlife is a national, non-profit membership organization dedicated to the protection of all native animals and plants in their natural communities.

National Resources Defense Council – NRDC is the nation’s most effective environmental action organization. We use law, science and the support of 1.3 million members and online activists to protect the planet’s wildlife and wild places and to ensure a safe and healthy environment for all living things.

Trustees For Alaska – A nonprofit public interest law firm providing counsel to protect and sustain Alaska’s environment. Offers semester-long environmental law externships in Alaska to law students who have a demonstrated commitment to the public interest and the environment.

World Bank Internship Program – offers an opportunity to improve skills as well as the experience of working in an international environment. Candidates must possess an undergraduate degree and already be enrolled in a full-time graduate study program.

Environmental Leadership Program – The Environmental Leadership Program (ELP) seeks to transform public understanding of environmental issues by training and supporting a network of visionary, action-oriented emerging leaders.
