Tina Aiu ’13 Travels to Jeju Island for the International Union for the Conservation of Nature

In September 2012, I was one of more than 40 delegates to represent Hawaiʻi at the International Union for the Conservation of Nature (IUCN) World Conservation Congress (WCC). The Congress brought together more than 10,000 environmental experts, scientists, and former and incumbent heads of state from around the world to discuss how to improve nature’s resilience.
