Online Course Evaluation
For our online course mid-semester evaluations, CTE will provide a master copy of comment forms (with the above three Small Group questions) which will be emailed as
a Google form individually to your students. Students will then anonymously answer questions on what is going well with the course of what may need clarification or
improvement. The instructor will then schedule a 15 minute online or face-to-face consultation with a CTE consultant either face-to-face or using Blackboard Collaborate to review and discuss the results.
Online Course Observation
Upon request, a CTE staff member will visit a class session to observe the teaching process, then conduct a peer review using the rubric & criteria for the online teaching award. A follow-up session is scheduled with the CTE consultant either online or face to face to discuss the observations and recommendations.
