A Taste of Hilo

A Taste of HiloThe 12th Annual Taste of Hilo is scheduled for Sunday, October 24, 2010, from 1:00 to 3:00 pm, at the Honpa Hongwanji Hilo Betsuin Sangha Hall. This year’s highlight will be locally raised sturgeon. This prehistoric fish is known for its caviar and delicious smoked flavor when prepared. This is a much-anticipated event, which offers great food and wine and beer tasting. Sample a variety of foods from local vendors and check out the silent auction. Proceeds from this event directly benefit Hawai‘i Community College’s Scholarship Program, staff development and college-wide projects.
