Hawaii Community College’s Division of Nursing and Allied Health Announcement

The Nursing and Allied Health Division faculty wishes to announce that it will host a site review for continuing accreditation of its Associate of Science degree nursing program.

You are invited to meet the visit team and share your comments about the program in person at a meeting scheduled for February 9, 2011 at 11:00am in Hilo on the University of Hawaii campus in PB5 Room 1.

Written comments are also welcome and should be submitted directly to:

All written comments should arrive at NLNAC by February 3rd.

The faculty of the Associate of Science degree nursing program completed an extensive accreditation self study report in December and are preparing for a site visit from National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC) representatives on February 8, 9, & 10.  The Associate of Science degree nursing program is accredited by the National League for Nursing, receiving its initial accreditation in 1998.
