Hamakua Springs Photo: Social Science 111 – Humanity, Society and Technology was the featured class of The Middle College Arts Program at the Keaau Youth Business Center (KYBC) for the Spring 2011. Students from Kua O Ka La Charter High School participated in this partnership with HawCC Running Start Program that makes it possible for high school students to take enter college courses. The students toured the Hamakua Springs Farm to learn about sustainability and local agriculture.
