New Playground Completed In April For The Children’s Center

The children and staff at the Children’s Center are thrilled with their recently renovated playground.

David Verbeck of Grassroots Playscapes created a naturalistic design using local and lasting resources.  The design was created for multiage useage (1-5 years of age) combining a child’s appreciation for fun with safety and creative thinking in mind.  The children recently harvested papaya from their tree and enjoyed it for snack while sharing a taste with the NAEYC Accreditation Representative who was at the center May 2nd to assist with re-accreditation.  Watch for more information in the Fall semester when a open house and dedication will be planned.
