Hot Hula Fitness

Are you tired of the same exercise routine? Try something new. HOT HULA fitness is a fun and exciting workout inspired by the dancing styles of the Pacific Islands providing a low impact total body workout. Low impact doesn’t mean low intensity.

In the month of November, OCET will be partnering with HOT HULA fitness to introduce this new class from Nov. 7-10 at various locations around the island. Try it out on Wednesday, November 9, right here on campus in the Cafeteria from 5:30-6:30p. So tell your family and friends, classes are being held in:

Honokaa-NHERC Nov. 7, 5-6p;

Kona-The Club in Kona Nov. 8, 6:15-7:15p;

Waimea- Waimea Community Center Nov. 10, 5:30-6:30p.

Instructor Certification

The holidays are just around the corner and that means New Years Resolutions are about to hit ground and we all know the number one resolution….Losing weight! So be ahead of the game become a certified instructor and offer this course, generate extra income and change lives. We’re offering Instructor Certification classes in Hilo on November 12, 10a-5p at Hawaii International Family Fitness Center (Previously Orchid Isle Fitness) and Kona on November 13, 11a-7p at The Club in Kona. Cost: $149, includes; lava lava, instructor manual and choreography, instructor dvd, instructor music, AFAA CECs, ACE CEUs, certificates and instructor mentoring program, register with OCET.

Noelani is a true Hilo girl at heart; she’ll be traveling from California to teach one-hour sessions and instructor certification. After taking several HHf classes, Noelani grew an amazing passion for the program and became a certified instructor within a year of taking her first HHf class. Noelani has lost nearly 60 lbs doing Hot Hula.
