The Japan Studies Association will be conducting a 3-week Freeman Institute JSA Summer Intensive Workshop on Japan from May 20th-June 9th. It is open to college teachers who have little, if any knowledge about Japan but who wish to learn in order to infuse this new information into their courses. It is funded by the Freeman Foundation, and it will accept 14 college teachers from across the country.
The workshop will be held at Hawaii Tokai International College in Honolulu. This is the 10th summer this program is being offered. The deadline for applying is February 20th.
