Hawai’i Community College, with funding from the Department of Labor, is proud to announce the start of the College to Career Internship Program (C2C). Our mission is to enhance the future of our students by preparing them for employment through meaningful internship experiences and providing community employers with work-ready employees.
C2C currently works with businesses and organizations in the community to partner as placement sites for potential interns. These opportunities will give potential interns practical work experience while under the guidance of professionals. Not only will this allow for career exploration, but it also looks great on a résumé!
Speaking of résumé, when applying for an internship Career Counselor Michelé Padayao and Internship Coordinator Jan-Marie Osorio will assist you in updating your résumé, building soft skills and performing mock interviews. They will also help you with exploring internship opportunities according to your strengths, experience and interest.
You can find them in Building 385A (Apprenticeship) in the partitioned office in Room 1 or call 974-2734. Find them on Facebook at www.facebook.com/collegetocareerinternships
