International Education Week happening November 12-14

unnamed[4]Please join us for Hawai`i Community College’s Annual International Education Week. This year’s events will run from Wednesday, November 12 to Friday, November 14, 2014. The theme is “Exploring Our Origins” with fun and exciting activities to stimulate and inspire you to learn more about your origins. Students, faculty and staff are invited to participate in a number of events hosted by the International Education Committee, including our popular Pizza Party, International Coffee & Tea Tasting, World Culture Night, International Movie Night, and Salsa 101 Dance Demonstration.

Learn to dance Salsa with Joel Paula, join Steven Clements to “make your mark” on our very own World Map of Origins of the Hawai`i CC `Ohana, and share stories about your origins with Pamela Scheffler in mini interviews that will be video recorded by Hawai`i CC Digital Media Students.

We are currently accepting photographs for our Photo Contest! Submit a photograph on the theme of “Exploring Our Origins” to Steven Clements at stevencc@hawaii.edu by November 6, 2014, and have your picture displayed during International Education Week.

For more information, please contact Carrie Mospens, 934-2588 or mospens@hawaii.edu.

See you there!!
