As their third semester drew to a close, the junior chefs and instructors were faced with the difficult task of choosing one student to represent the group as the most outstanding. This student is diligent in her studies, is sought after and complimented by local employers, and has represented her schools in competitions since high school. In December, she garnered accolades from nationally known chefs and leading American Culinary Federation (ACF) evaluators Reimond Peitz and Stafford DeCambra at the ACF Salon at KCC. After the judges description of her dish, the entire audience gave a round of applause.
