Associate Vice President for Student Affairs, Lui K. Hokoana is pleased to announce the opening of the application season for one of UH’s most prestigious scholarships, the 2012
UH Presidential Scholarship.

Presidential Scholars receive a full tuition scholarship and a
stipend of $2,000 each semester, plus a one-time travel grant
of up to $2,000. The scholarship is renewable for a total term
of four consecutive semesters, providing that eligibility is
maintained. Presidential Scholars may attend any
baccalaureate campus of the University of Hawaiʻi.
Students meeting all of the following qualifications may apply
by the deadline of February 1, 2012:
-Classified full-time undergraduate student who will be a junior
in the fall 2012 semester (i.e. has completed at least 55 and
not more than 88 credits), seeking a degree in any course of
study at any baccalaureate campus of the University of Hawaiʻi
(i.e. Hilo, Manoa, or West Oahu);
-Grade point average of at least 3.7 for all college level work;
-Evidence of superior academic achievement or creative
-Record of academic, co-curricular and community service
activities in college;
-Bona fide resident of Hawaiʻi at the time of application.
