Donna J. Amoroso completed her PhD at Cornell University, taught at Wright State University, was visiting fellow at Kyoto University’s Center for Southeast Asian Studies, and was appointed Director of the Writing Program, National Graduate Institute of Policy Studies, Tokyo. She co-wrote with Patricio N. Abinales State and Society in the Philippines (Rowman and Littlefield, 2005).
