The UH Community Colleges selected the 6th Generation for the Community Colleges Leadership Champions Program. The leadership development program was established through the generosity of the Joyce S. Tsunoda UHCC Leadership Development Endowment Fund to nurture leadership by growing leaders from within and to identify, encourage, develop and support the next generation of community college leadership.

The CCLC 6th Generation includes:

    Ryan Daniels, Maui
    Sherri Fujita, Hawaiʻi
    Sandra Hoshino, Leeward
    Kristine Korey-Smith, Kapiʻolani
    Carla Rogers, Windward
    Calvin Shirai, Kauaʻi
    Preshess Willets-Vaquilar, Honolulu

Kauaʻi Chancellor Helen Cox will preside as lead mentor.
