Aloha! Welcome to Hawai‘i Community College – Pālamanui, the new branch campus in North Kona that will serve the West Hawai’i community!
Hawai‘i CC – Pālamanui is currently under construction and is scheduled to open in Fall 2015. Hawai‘i CC – Pālamanui is a branch campus of Hawai‘i Community College in Hilo and is part of the University of Hawai‘i system.
Hawai‘i CC – Pālamanui will deliver two-year Associate degrees. The campus will also deliver Bachelor’s and graduate-level degrees from other campuses in the UH system, such as UH Hilo, UH Mānoa, and UH West O‘ahu.
Hawai‘i Community College currently operates the UH Center, West Hawai‘i in Kealakekua. These programs and services in Kealakekua will move to Hawai‘i CC – Pālamanui when construction is complete and Hawai‘i CC – Pālamanui opens.
With a rich array of classes in culinary arts, nursing, Hawaiian culture, science, liberal arts, and more, Hawai‘i CC – Pālamanui will be a vibrant and essential resource for those who call West Hawai‘i home.
The new classrooms, science laboratories, learning kitchens, and learning resource center will be state-of-the-art, LEED Platinum Certified facilities designed for 21st century learning.
The college will provide high-quality, accessible higher education, with affordable tuition rates, and free application for Hawai‘i residents. The college’s Open Door Policy means any applicant who submits a completed application by the application deadline can expect to be accepted to the college.
Hawai‘i CC – Pālamanui is located at 73-1025 Kaiminani Drive in North Kona, which is mauka of the Kona International Airport.
