Virtual Tour

Have you seen O‘ahu, one of the 7 main islands in the Hawaiian Island Chain and home to the ASH program at the University of Hawai‘i?  Check out this virtual tour I found online. Better yet, spend some time with us at UH and see O‘ahu for yourself!

Here are some everyday sites in Honolulu.

This picture overlooking the gorgeous water of the Pacific was taken by Kenny E., alum from Fall 2010.  In the picture is fellow alum, Daren S.

A typical Hawaiian rainbow.

Bloggers Dinner

Category : Student Spotlight

It was a stormy night in Honolulu, but a few of the bloggers were able to brave the crazy weather and enjoy a dinner together at Sushi King. Everybody showed up wet and chilled, but the warm tea, tonjiru soup, and miso soup with mushrooms chased the cold away.  For entree we had caterpillar and dragon sushi (look at the picture!) and tempura.  (Actually the sushi only looked like a caterpillar and a dragon.  Eel, avocado, shrimp, and ahi were in costume.) It was a fun night, and we got to meet Josh, Brittany’s boyfriend.  For dessert, we hit the TCBY next door for yogurt.  Food in Honolulu is wonderful!
