This semester we had our very first ASH Photo Blog Competition. Out of 80 photos submitted, Vanessa’s shot of an intense sunset won first in show. See the previous post for her photo and 5 honorable mentions from Chloë and Sarah H. Last night the photo bloggers went to dinner at Sushi King for a celebration, and of course, photos of the food are included below. We ordered both the Sushi and Sashimi Omakase, which means we left it up to the sushi chef to surprise us and choose what to serve. I also received a beautiful tuberose and orange carnation lei from the students. Thank you! The best part of my job is getting to know the students and hearing about their adventures in Hawai‘i. Thanks to everyone who submitted a photo!
