In addition to meeting alumni and addressing preliminary meetings and workshops to the APEC summit in Honolulu next month, my trip to Vietnam has afforded opportunities to remind our Vietnamese hosts of Hawaiʻi’s unparalleled position bridging East and West, both culturally and geographically. Above, I am addressing an APEC workshop in Hanoi.
