Reporter Terri Okita went along to the Next Step Shelter in Kaka’kako, one of three state homeless shelters where the only medical care these people get is from our medical student volunteers with the Homeless Outreach and Medical Education (H.O.M.E.) program, run by JABSOM’s Dr. Jill Omori.
