Class Correspondents will help MD alumni reconnect

As we gear up for the 50th Anniversary of JABSOM’s founding in 2015, the Alumni Office is making an all-out effort to reconnect with all 2,000+ of our MD alumni.  This big task is being undertaken by class correspondents (JABSOM’s first ever!) – one or more for each class beginning with the first two-year class in 1969 to our most recent 2012 graduates. Mahalo nui loa to the 67 alumni who have agreed to serve as class correspondents.

Dr. Damon Sakai is among 62 alumni who have signed up to be class correspondents

Class correspondents — including 1991′s Dr. Damon Sakai — have already sent eblasts and/or letters to classmates asking each to complete an Alumni Profile Update Form so they can stay in touch about upcoming happenings like Reunion 2012 this summer. If you have not already done so, please click on the link above to update your contact information.

Every email address we have on file saves JABSOM 45 cents in postage, so please be sure we have yours.

If you want to reach your class correspondent(s), you can email him, her or them at a password-protected email account JABSOMclasscorrespondentYEAR@uhalumni.org.  Just substitute your class year for the word YEAR. Rest assured, only your correspondent(s) has access to your class’ account.

Finding alumni is just the first step in our effort to reconnect. Later this year we plan to create an online directory for JABSOM alumni, and class correspondents will begin gathering news from their classmates for class notes that will be shared on a secure web page.

Stay tuned as we reconnect and move toward the “big 5-0″ at JABSOM.
