On August 15, Dean Jerris Hedges held a luncheon in the Medical Education Building to recognize 15 of our faculty members who were promoted and/or awarded tenure this summer. They were acknowledged among their peers, Department Chairs, and John A. Burns School of Medicine (JABSOM) administration for their accomplishments. Each faculty member shared their unique research passion and their contributions to the school and the University of Hawai’i and described their future goals.
“These dedicated faculty members contribute to the continued success of JABSOM, which is by far Hawai’i's major source of physicians, public health professionals and communication science and disorder therapists and scholars to treat illness and injury and promote better health among our citizens,” said Dr. Hedges.
