H.O.M.E. Project sponsors FLU SHOT CLINICS for the JABSOM community, October 10

The Hawai`i H.O.M.E. Project (Homeless Outreach and Medical Education) will once again be sponsoring Flu Shot Clinics for the John A. Burns School of Medicine (JABSOM) community to show thanks for the medical school community’s ongoing support of H.O.M.E. This year, the vaccinations are FREE to all students, $5.00 for all staff and faculty (no insurance cards required), and $10 for the general public. The clinics will be conveniently held on the Kaka`ako campus with the following dates:

Wednesday, October 10, 2012

12:30 pm – 2:00 p.m.
Kaka’ako Ancillary Building (next door to the Wellness Center)

Only the inactivated Influenza Vaccine (the shot…not the nasal spray) will be offered. Faculty and staff, please note that depending on your insurance and your physician, you may be eligible for a free vaccine, so you may want to check with your physician first if you do not want to pay the $5.00 fee.

Please bring some type of identification with you to verify that you are a JABSOM student, faculty, or staff member.
