Through gifts and pledges every year, faculty and staff at the John A. Burns School of Medicine (JABSOM) help to financially support the many ways JABSOM improves health care in Hawai`i. During the 2012 JABSOM Internal Giving Campaign, donations from staff and faculty at the medical school — along with matching gifts — totaled more than $170,000! It’s money that is from JABSOM and for JABSOM–it stays at the school to help fund among 78 different programs which employees and staff chose specifically to support.
