FACULTY TRAINING: 2013 Comprehensive Problem-Based Learning Tutorial Training Workshops scheduled

Problem-based learning (PBL) is the exciting foundation for medical education at the John A. Burns School of Medicine (JABSOM).  Workshops are now scheduled to help faculty members become certified in PBL.

This faculty training workshop is meant to serve as an Introduction to Problem-Based Learning (PBL) for new faculty or a refresher course for faculty members who may already have some experience using PBL.  It is intended for any JABSOM faculty members who would like to be certified to serve as a small group facilitator in the preclinical PBL curriculum.

To receive credit for completing this workshop, participants must attend the entirety of both days.

Fall Workshop:  

  • Wednesday, October 9, 2013, 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. and
  •  Friday, October 11, 2013 5:00 – 8:00 PM

All sessions will be held at JABSOM at Kakaako.  Room numbers will be forwarded after registration is received. Please see: (ADD LINK to attached registration form) for more information.
