Convocation for the Hawai`i’s newest MDs–the University of Hawai`i John A. Burns School of Medicine (JABSOM) MD Class of 2013 is Sunday, May 12, from 9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., at the Kennedy Theater on the UH Mānoa campus.
At the MD Convocation Ceremony, the new MDs get to be together in public one last time as a class to celebrate. Convocation is always memorable because it includes touching moments in which our students give a maile lei to and publicly express their “mahalo” to family and friends — and each other — for the support they received through four years of challenging study.
