MELE KALIKIMAKA: Select an Angel Tree Ornament, Give a Gift to a Needy Child

By Erica Wang, UH Medical Student
Angel Tree ornaments are now available on the Christmas tree in the Health Sciences Library of the John A. Burns School of Medicine. These Angel Tree ornaments represent children from homeless shelters across O`ahu who are in need of gifts this Christmas.

Please consider brightening the holidays for a homeless child by selecting an ornament from the tree and purchasing a gift for this child. Gifts should be approximately $20 in value.

When selecting your ornament from the tree, please fill out your name, e-mail, and phone number on the attached donor form. This form should then be detached and placed in the gift box next to the Christmas tree. Please drop off your new, unwrapped gift back to the lobby area the Office of Medical Education (3rd Floor, Medical Education Building, 651 Ilalo Street in Kaka`ako) on or before Wednesday, December 11, 2013.

The MD Students’ Pediatric Interest Group, Family Medicine Interest Group, and Hawai`i H.O.M.E. (Homeless Outreach and Medical Education) Project thank you for your support!
