NEWS channel visits to see JABSOM inspire Native Hawaiian students on spring break

Hawai`i News Now’s Mileka Lincoln caught up with the Native Hawaiian Center of Excellence at the Department of Native Hawaiian Health as high school students on spring break learned about careers in health. The John A. Burns School of Medicine (JABSOM) faculty regularly interact with public school students, especially those from under served communities, to inspire them with hands-on experiences in our Simulation Center and Classrooms, and stories about how students just like them have been educated at JABSOM and are practicing medicine to help Hawai`i today.
