Preventing re-infections or new illnesses within hospitals is a major emphasis throughout the country. Here at the John A. Burns School of Medicine (JABSOM), faculty helped bring home that message in a video shown to third-year medical students during the “Transition to Clerkship” Week.
We thought you’d enjoy the video, and the reminder that washing your hands is one of the best things you can do to protect your health!
The video was directed by Dr. Erlaine Bello, Associate Professor of Internal Medicine, and videotaped and edited by UH Med Student Journalists Jeremy Nitta and Amanda Shell.
