The Hawai‘i Homeless Outreach & Medical Education (H.O.M.E.) Project held its 6th annual food & wine tasting fundraiser this past weekend. The 2014 event was named, “Ho`o¯la me ke kahiau”, or “Healing with compassion through selfless giving.”
UH Med Student Amanda Shell reports on the John A. Burns School of Medicine program now in its eight year providing free medical care for O’ahu’s homeless, and a valuable learning experience for our future Island physicians.
