Interest in the ebola virus remains strong, especially among health workers, and those who will become health workers in the near future. Hawaiʻi Epidemiologist Dr. Sarah Park drew a classroom full of medical students when she spoke today at the John A. Burns School of Medicine. Her talk, on the response to ebola, was sponsored by the JABSOM `Imi Ho`ōla Post-Baccalaureate Program.
Thanks to Dr. Park and the Hawai`i State Department of Health for the lecture.
Also being planned, by the JABSOM Department of Tropical Medicine, Medical Microbiology and Pharmacology, is another symposium on the disease. Weʻll let you know when that is scheduled.
