The University of Hawaii Blogs ( http://blog.hawaii.edu / http://web.hawaii.edu ) is running a multisite version of WordPress. This is done to give users easy access to UH System and UH Manoa WordPress templates and also to help keep WordPress sites and plugins on our system up to date.
The drawback to using multisite wordpress for your site is that the themes and plugins available will be limited. If there is a theme or plugin that you would like to use for your site that is not already available, please contact us by email with the name and URL of the theme or plugin you are interested in and if there is enough interest, it may be installed onto the site. Please note that beta versions of plugins or themes will not be installed onto the site.
If you are a custom theme creator, you can request for the installation of a theme that you’ve made. Please note this when you filling out the form to request for your site.
