Hawaiʻi Immigrant Justice Center

The Hawaiʻi Immigrant Justice Center is a sector of Legal Aid Society provides free legal services to eligible immigrants living in the State of Hawaii. HIJC also conducts community outreach and education, hosts free legal clinics, and provides training on a variety of immigration and related civil rights issues.

The Legal Aid Society of Hawaiʻi is a public interest, not-for-profit law firm whose mission is to achieve fairness and justice through legal advocacy, outreach, and education for those in need. Legal Aid continues to provide full representation to those in need and has improved access to justice by also training clients to handle legal matters on their own.

The Temporary Restraining Order Hotline of Family Court (Oʻahu First Circuit) can provide information on TROs and the process of obtaining protective orders.

Volunteer Legal Services Hawaiʻi

Volunteer Legal Services Hawaiʻi serves Hawaiʻi’s low-income community through volunteer attorneys. These pro bono attorneys provide legal services in a wide range of civil matters, including divorce, paternity, custody, child support, guardianship, adoption, power of attorney, wills, employment and labor, landlord-tenant, collections, public benefits, bankruptcy, immigration, and tax education. They are able to assist as long as you meet low-income guidelines and have a legal issue within service guidelines.

Child and Family Services (CFS)

Child and Family Services is a family-centered, full-service nonprofit dedicated to “Strengthening families and fostering the healthy development of children”. CFS offers a wide range of programs to meet the needs of our four core focus areas: Caring for Keiki, Empowering Youth, Healing from Trauma (Adults & Families), and Honoring Kūpuna.

Domestic Violence Action Center (DVAC)

The Domestic Violence Action Center provides legal information, court accompaniment, advocacy, and safety planning  support to victims of domestic violence.  DVAC has been providing legal information and representation to victims. With attorneys and advocates on staff, DVAC aims to assist and accompany victims in their pursuit of safety and freedom.

Parents and Children Together (PACT)

PACT serves over 15,000 parents, children, individuals, and families each year with statewide programs and services in 5 areas of focus: early childhood education, domestic violence intervention, family strengthening services, behavioral health support, and community building.

Sex Abuse Treatment Center (SATC)

The Sex Abuse Treatment Center (SATC) of Kapi’olani Medical Center for Women & Children is a statewide program that provides comprehensive services for survivors of sexual assault. This includes medical care, crisis counseling, and therapy.
