UH Mānoa Formal Reporting Offices

Before revealing any information, please verify the reporting obligations of the person you are speaking with. Most UHM employees are required to report all the details of an incident – including the identities of both the victim and perpetrator – to the Title IX coordinator. Any information shared with responsible employees will place the University on notice.

If you need more time to think through the situation, there are confidential resources available to assist you.

Please be aware that a criminal investigation is separate and distinct from UH Mānoa’s institutional response. You may choose both, one, or neither of these options depending on your individual decision. These options are available simultaneously, and UH Mānoa will cooperate with law enforcement agencies if a criminal investigation occurs.

To make a formal report, please contact the Title IX Office:
Dr. Dee Uwono
Director and Title IX Coordinator
Hawaiʻi Hall 112
(808) 956-2299
