Research Information Services at the East-West Center

The East-West Center (EWC) in Mānoa, Honolulu, Hawai‘i is often mistaken as part of the University of Hawai‘i (UH) because of its location. However, the East-West Center is an independent, non-profit organization. The entire history of the East-West Center–its origins, transformation, and the present activities–can be found at the Center’s website.

Most of the publications by the East-West Center are digitized and housed at the UH Mānoa Library, and because the PDFs were indexed, keyword search among the EWC publications enables you to retrieve the information you are looking for.

To use the UH Mānoa Library’s repository, you need to go to the Library’s homepage at http://manoa.hawaii.edu/library/. From the top menu, choose “Research,” then select “Scholarly Communication.” Under Scholarly communication, you will see ScholarSpace, eVols, and the UH System Repository.
